Terms of Service

Focus on Prep is an independent Digital SAT preparation tool. It provides topic-by-topic practice, full-length test-day-style module tests, a vocabulary system, and progress analytics. Focus on Prep is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the College Board or ETS. “SAT” is a trademark of the College Board.

• The service is designed for high-school students preparing for the SAT. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have a parent or guardian’s permission to use it.
• You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure.
• Provide accurate information when you register, and keep it up to date.
• Accounts are for individual use. Do not share, sell, or transfer your account or access.

New accounts include a 7-day free trial with no payment and no card required. When the trial ends, you may purchase a plan to continue with full access.

• Plans grant a fixed access period as a one-time purchase: 1 month (30 days), 3 months (90 days), or 6 months (180 days).
• Plans DO NOT auto-renew. You are never charged automatically and there is no recurring subscription. Access ends when the paid period expires, after which you may choose to purchase more time.
• Prices are shown at checkout in U.S. dollars (USD) or Korean won (KRW). The amount and currency you confirm at checkout is what you are charged.
• Payments are processed by PortOne and its connected processors — KG Inicis for KRW card payments, and PayPal for international payments. We do not store your full card details.
• Access to paid content begins immediately upon successful payment. You acknowledge that supply of the digital content starts at that moment, and that once supply has begun, the statutory right of withdrawal applies to the unused portion of your access period as described in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
• If you are a minor and entered into a purchase without the consent of your parent or legal guardian, you or your guardian may cancel that purchase as provided by applicable law.
• Technical requirements: the service runs in a current version of a modern web browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge, or Firefox) on desktop or mobile with an internet connection — no installation required.

Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, including a 7-day cooling-off period.

You agree not to:

• Copy, scrape, redistribute, resell, or publish our questions, explanations, or other content.
• Share your account or provide access to people who have not purchased it.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, probe, or disrupt the service, or bypass access controls or payment.
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.

All content provided through the service — including questions, explanations, the vocabulary system, and software — is owned by Focus on Prep or its licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the service for your own SAT preparation while your account is in good standing. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

Focus on Prep is a study tool. We do not guarantee any particular SAT score, admission outcome, or result. The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Focus on Prep will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including any mandatory consumer-protection rights.

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the service in a way that harms other users or the service. Where you have an active paid period and we terminate without cause, our Refund & Cancellation Policy applies.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. For consumers, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence. Disputes that cannot be resolved by contacting us first are subject to the jurisdiction provided under applicable consumer-protection law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes are posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
